In recent years due to an ever-decreasing marketplace, British industry has become a far more competitive place. Customers now demand higher quality goods and services on shorter deadlines and at the right price. Quite simply they are demanding Value For Money.
AGA Lifting Services Ltd commenced trading in 1998 and is run on a day-to day- basis by Alan Taylor (Managing Director) and Steve Gillions (Technical Director). The simple philosophy of its founders was to provide a high quality service at a reasonable price and to build long-standing working relationships with all their customers.
AGA's role consists generally of working for medium to large companies in a variety of different industries, installing, modifying, designing, fabricating, servicing, repairing and erecting lifting equipment (see selected customer listings).

In May 2007 the Company acquired Yorkshire steel fabricators Robert Clark & Sons, which is also located in Sheffield . The acquisition of Robert Clarks gives the Company an “in house” facility to fabricate the equipment they design. Previously sub-contractors carried out this work. This acquisition means that AGA customers can now take advantage of a multi-skilled contracting team and a craft and technically based manufacturing facility, together with the assurance that all planning and implementation work will take place at board level.
